Guppy's New Crossbow
This is one of the new "small" bows I am making. It has a
32" prod (as opposed to the 36" prod I normally make) and a 29"
tiller length. It has a draw of 8.75" and a pull of 90# at that draw
for a respectable 786ip energy rating. And yes, the bolts come out of
there quite nicely, thankyouverymuch. You can hit a stationary
person-sized target at 40 yards without too much difficulty with one of these,
though 30 yards is much easier. This one is in the Italian style with a
lacquered cherry tiller.
